Abbott Sub Teachers – Certification 60 College Credits
Family Worker (FT) – Family Worker is responsible for coordinating, collaborating, and facilitating the effective delivery of social services and parent involvement to Head Start children, families, and staff in accordance with New Jersey Licensing Regulations and Head Start Performance Standards; Must have a High School Diploma or GED, along with 15 credits, a car on a daily basis and a valid New Jersey Driver’s License. Must read and write sufficiently to maintain proper records.
Temp. Child/Family Site Director (Williamstown) -Responsible for supervision, training and technical assistance to designated staff at assigned Head Start center in a manner that facilitates the implementation and maintenance of program quality in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, New Jersey licensing regulations, and other related regulations. Must have a Bachelor’s degree (see New Jersey licensing standards). At least two years teaching experience of pre-school children with an understanding of child development. Knowledge of Community Resources/and or previous Social Service experience. At least two years supervisory experience, but not required. Must have car available on a daily basis and New Jersey driver’s license. Computer literate in Microsoft office, Word and Excel.
CHERYL CHADWICK EARLY LEARNING CENTER (CCELC): Substitute Teacher’s Assistant (PT) – To execute educational program in line with CCELC educational goals, beliefs, and designed curriculum. Will be responsible for filling in for absent teachers and must be able to follow a classroom schedule and work with various ages 0-5. Position is on-call when needed shift may vary from day-to-day. Must have a HS Diploma or GED certificate, and a valid NJ Driver’s License.
FRANK TEJERAS EARLY LEARNING CENTER: Secretary (FT) – Assist center Director in the administration of designated office procedures. He/or she will be responsible for submitting monthly reports, meeting day to day deadlines, and filing all information for the center. Knowledge of statistical reporting, and fee collection is required. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Able to communicate well with parents, and work closely with others. Must be able to multi-task and be a team player. Two years of secretarial experience. Have a valid NJ Driver’s License, and a HS Diploma or GED.
HEALTH SERVICES: Alzheimer’s Activities Aide ( PT) -The Activities Aide will provide assistance for any and all activities in the program. The aide will assist the coordinator as needed and will follow the coordinator’s lead in the activities scheduled. The aide will willingly comply in further training as needed or recommended. Some experience in serving the senior citizen population. Must have a high school degree or GED certificate, valid New Jersey Driver’s license, and access to a dependable automobile. Computer proficient, Microsoft Office preferred.
Gleaning Assistant – (1) Tri-County Service Area – To provide assistance to the program Manager with gleaning, storage, distribution of food products used in the program, and assist with maintenance of the warehouse and its systems. Also includes job activities with the Food Program and the Urban Farm project. Ability to work independently and a minimum of 0-1 year experience working in an outreach environment. Job consists of lifting, bending and standing. Candidate may be required to work early evening hours and weekends. Valid NJ Driver’s License, High School Diploma or GED certificate required.
Grant Administrator (FT) (Cumberland Co.) – Will be the administrator for the Ryan White Grant for Cumberland County. Assist the county with provider RFPs, and monitor local providers. Serve on the Planning Council. Responsible for administrative work on the Planning Council, work with County representatives, valid New Jersey Driver’s License, and ability to work independently. Excellent computer skills and grant writing skills. Experience in working with HIV and AIDS population with 2 years of experience and knowledge of Ryan White Care Act is a plus. Some late evening and weekends required.
Urban Farm Kitchen Coordinator (FT) – The Mill Creek Urban Kitchen Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks essential to the overall operation of the Mill Creek Urban Farm & Community Kitchen Program; must have one (1) year experience in Culinary instructions, be unemployed, and have good written and oral communication skills. Valid New Jersey Driver’s License required, must work well with people, willing to seek and follow advice from a variety of sources and have a high degree of interest & enthusiasm in cooking.
WIC: Dental Clerk/Van Driver (FT) (Cumberland & Salem Co.) - The dental Clerk will be responsible for determining participants’ program eligibility, preparing patient charts, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, Filing, etc. Act as a liaison between schools and the program manager to finalize mobile unit’s schedule, completing daily statistics and billing documents, all maintenance related jobs pertaining to the vehicle, and maintaining logs for program compliance. Assists the Dentist is smooth operation of the dental program and serving children and seniors. Other duties assigned by program manager. A High School Diploma or GED (Associates degree desirable). A Valid Driver’s license with CDL Class B; travel is required. One year experience with administrative duties, must be computer literate and have excellent customer service skills; able to use MS excel and spread sheets; able to compute statistics and computer reports, be reliable and able to work with children and seniors. Must be comfortable working in a mobile environment; knowledge of medical billing and office training a plus. Drive and set-up the van per schedule, responsible for regular maintenance and up keep of the vehicle. Keep daily travel logs, maintenance logs, licensing, registration and other documentation. Assist in the clinic set-up. Ability to work independently, bilingual (Spanish speaking) is highly desirable. 40 hours work week.
WIC Clerk/Van Driver (Cape May, Cumberland, & Salem Co.) (FT) - The WIC Clerk will be responsible for determining participants’ program eligibility, heath screenings (blood work and anthropometrics); preparing participant charts, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, Filing. Other duties assigned by supervisor/program manager. A High School Diploma or GED and a Valid Driver’s license with CDL Class B; travel is required. One year experience with administrative duties and must be computer literate. Have excellent customer service skills; be reliable and able to work with children and be comfortable working in a high paced environment. Drive and set-up the van per schedule, responsible for regular maintenance and up keep of the vehicle. Keep daily travel logs, maintenance logs, licensing, registration and other documentation. Assist in the clinic set-up. Ability to work independently, bilingual (Spanish speaking) is highly desirable. 35 hours work week.
SOCIAL SERVICES: Home Energy Assistance Tech/Intake (FT) – Assist applicants with completing HEA/USF application, Manage case files, answer incoming calls, enter data into computer, Ability to work in busy office, handle heavy work load, One (1) year experience in consumer friendly environment, Data entry skills, Must have New Jersey Driver’s License, High School Diploma or GED, Good written and communication skills.
WEATHERIZATION: Weatherization Installer (FT) (Bridgeton) – Repair & replace windows, doors including framing where required on all housing types, Install fiberglass and cellulose insulation. Operate the Force Two Insulation Machine. Install other energy savings, health and safety materials such as, but not limited to, hot water heater pipe wrap insulation, rim joist insulation, roof vents, dryer vents, gable vents, gutters, downspouts, glass replacement, caulking and glazing. Report to Crew Leader, must have at least 2 years experience in carpentry work, must be able to work well with others and follow instructions. A valid Drivers License, attend conferences and training sessions. Must be able to pass Criminal History and Drug Test.
